In-home small groups with a focus on spiritual growth enable women to focus on areas of growth that most interests them & meets their specific needs.
I don’t need to tell you that life can be hard. This is especially true for parents. Even if you don’t have children or a spouse, it can still be a struggle getting through the day. Faith offers you a solid foundation on which to build your life. You may not always feel strong but the spirit within you is strong enough for both of you.
Faith is like muscles. You need to take steps to build it up & make it stronger. This approach lies at the heart of spiritual growth. You can’t simply go to church once a week & think that’s enough anymore than you can go to the gym once a week. You need to take steps throughout the week to grow & remain spiritually strong.
Small groups can be a major part of your growth. The women in your groups help encourage & support one another through the good times & bad. When things are difficult, it helps to know others have had the same experience. It also helps to hear how their faith helped them get through the dark times. While I believe it is important to study Scripture & work to grow your faith on an individual basis, Jesus told us that where 2 or more are gathered, He will be there. The members of your group increase the spiritual power of the group by their numbers. By praying & studying together, you greatly increase your spiritual growth than if you simply go it alone.
Your small group is a vital part of your strong spiritual foundation, the network you need to remain strong when life gets rough. And when you can’t be strong, they are supports that hold you up & keep you strong no matter how bad things may become.
