When I was a kid, my mom always encouraged me to get my homework done on Friday so I wouldn’t have it hanging over my head all weekend. “Put it behind you & you can relax, enjoy the weekend!” she always said. I wasn’t always good about following that advice but over the years, as a mom, I understand the wisdom of her words.
